currently: brushing my hair more times than needed. I find there's something quite relaxing about brushing your hair.

Going through my computer files this morning...I found something I had written almost this time last year that I've never shared. So I thought I'd share it today, in memory of the people from Elim who died about this time last year in the canyoning tragedy.

Rain Fall Down - a song

The waters are rising
Skies are black
All the surroundings
Become dark and frightening
Can't turn back

And oh,
Everything's racing
Everything fighting for air
But we confess we keep getting swept away
What are we to say?

[pre ch.]
We all want someone to blame
We need a reason for our pain

[ch.]
Rain fall down
Let everything be made whole
Be made whole.
Rain fall down
Show us where we belong
Where we belong.

The waves freezing cold
Everything's changing
Nothing to hold on
Can't let these hands slip
To let hope be gone

[pre ch. x2
ch x2]

[br.]
Running
Find it in a brighter place
Where I call home
Running
Settles after the storm.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
