Day 18 of Malaysia - The best free things come from the most expensive of places

currently: should be asleep.

It's currently 2am now. I really should be asleep, but with all the late partying (ha.) and the large amounts of food (urgh) its been getting really hard to sleep on time. So this is why I'm still awake, able to send you a blog post about today before I fall completely asleep.

Today was probably the last time I'ld ever be able to go to KL City on this trip. There are only a couple of days left before I fly back home :) I really miss my bed...

Anyway, today's trip was to The Pavilion in the city central, near Sungei Wang and Times Square

I've been to the Pavilion before on a previous trip - it's great if you want high class/designer brand stuff. Many American shops are here too, like Forever 21 and Paul Frank.

What I want to point out today was this one section in particular that was really fantastic today.
In the Parkson's department store, one accessories area called Club 21 happened to have their reopening launch in the store.
So they were giving out these card that invited people to it, and offered them a chance to get a free mystery gift.
I got a lousy mystery gift (a 20% off voucher for their products - this was compared to free tote bags and $50 Parkson vouchers) but what was really amazing is the big event they had to open the store:

It was like an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party! There were free drinks (both alco and non-alcoholic), free tea treats (I ate two macaroons), lots of lollies and jellybeans - and such an adorable set up!

I didn't have my fancy camera with me, but I got a bit snap happy taking shots on my cell:

I have to award them for having such a great event. I really enjoyed myself, even though I didn't buy a single thing. You rarely find stuff like this happening in NZ. Wish it would every once in a while...
It would be nice to live off free special event macaroons :P
